I did it! I finally made the lampshade cover that I had planned on before Jackson was born. It was actually really fun and I was happy with how it turned out.
I cut out the trains and cars from material from the baby quilt and bumper and used a little interfacing behind them and stitched them on.
I am so happy to have this idea out of my brain and completed.
Here it is with the bookshelf. We have another bookshelf to set up too, I guess we will just stack it on top? I'm not sure. But I have finally arranged the room so that I am pretty happy with a bed and a crib in there. I have moved it around a zillion times, but I think that we found the right fit.
