stuck in the mud

What a whirlwind month. We started the month finding a home we loved and prepared to put an offer on it. We have been praying for guidance for months. Adam was feeling good about work and we were planning on staying in California for at least a few more years. Well, the Lord certainly answered our prayers in an unexpected way. Adam lost his job the day before general conference. We were quite shocked, however we couldn't have asked for better timing or a better weekend. We definitely felt that many of the talks at conference were exactly what we needed to hear. It was the best pep talk and advice we could have asked for. We feel blessed.

We don't know exactly what we will be doing or where we will go. But we do know that the Lord is mindful of us. We're grateful for words of support and encouragement and guidance. Many have helped review and re-review resumes and help with job search engines. 

Now Adam's full time job is his resume and finding work as well as dr. appointments and dentists. He has been a huge help at home and with the boys and I have to admit it is wonderful having him here. We have been able to balance each other out pretty well when we get totally overwhelmed and stressed.

We really enjoyed a break from real life to go to Ventura for Noah's baptism and be together with Adam's family for Easter. We came home and celebrated my birthday. As far as what's next....we'll keep you posted.
